Hong Leong Group successfully acquired Hillview Rise site with the highest bid of S$460m


Intrepid Investments and Garden Estates – a subsidiary of Hong Leong Holdings has snapped the Hillview Rise residential site through the Government Land Sale (GLS) residential site that was released.

Among the seven shortlisted proposals for the residential site, Hong Leong Holdings has emerged as the top bidder of $460 million and awarded with Hillview Rise site which has a gross floor area (GFA) of 40,030 sq m.

Awarded by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) on 3rd of July, URA said in the statement that Hong Leong Holdings won the bid with a extensive proposal that includes Prefabricated Prefinished Volumetric Construction (PPVC) with a well planned in layout and construction of the residential site.

To reduce the workload on the site, the developer will will increase the level of prefabrication by adopting Mass Engineered Timber (MET) for the clubhouse.

The overall proposed concept by Intrepid Investments and Garden Estates is applaudable for the construction productivity plan and management which a significantly reduce in manpower with higher productivity result.

General manager for the Hillview Rise site project, Loke Kee Yeu had shown to be pleased with the awarded residential site by the URA. It has shown to be recognised of their expertise and experience in the field to use innovative technology in construction and creative methods to achieve best productivity, quality as well as final outcome for the projects. Beside the construction work, they ensure safety and efficient to be one of the highest importance aspect of the project.

From the shortlisted proposals, the other eight tenderers which qualified with evaluation criteria satisfied by Concept Evaluation Committee (CEC) were:

ii. Areca Realty and CDL Constellation
iii. CDL Constellation and Areca Realty
iv. CSC Land Group (Singapore)
v. Qingjian Realty (Residential)
vi. Yanlord Singapore Residential and Soilbuild Group Holdings Ltd
